Property’s Morning Obsession: Back to School With 3rd Ward

After opening for a short preview during Philly Tech Week in April, 3rd Ward has finally announced its class schedule. We’re still waiting with bated breath for the promised millinery class, but the courses already on the calendar look pretty intriguing.

Classes will begin at the co-working space on June 1. They range from $69 for a one-night class (on public speaking) to $534 for a six-week watercolor course.  Fees include materials as well as instruction by local experts.

Students can take up anything from oil painting to 3D modeling. We are most interested, however, in the Intro to Collage and Mixed Media Course (June 2 at $105) because it promises to “explore the formal elements of collage.” Whatever they may be.
