Property’s Morning Obsession: Adorable, Affordable Ardmore Beach Cottage

Something about this home recalls a cottage on Cape Cod, the kind that might sit across from the dunes in Truro or along a side street in Wellfleet. The associations probably come from the wood shingling, the simple white kitchen and the hardwood floors, but the photo of two comfy chairs by a window with fading light doesn’t hurt either. Unlike the Cape, however, this is a house many people could afford: The asking price is currently $340,000.

The circa-1920 home (1,404 square feet) has five bedrooms and one bathroom (eek). Inside space is enhanced by a rear porch and rear yard; a basement; a mud room/pantry; and a three-car driveway. The sale is being handled by John Hodge of Duffy Real Estate.

Practice man, we talkin’ about practice!

Foles wishes he was McNabb. And I wasn’t a McNabb fan, but he came in and showed flashes of something special. Foles…. hasn’t. He’s just decent.

I guess the two TD drives in the last six minutes of the game and to score a TD on the last play of the game didn’t happen and Foles didn’t have anything to do about it. I have such an imagination.

Fans don’t seem to be sold on Foles, but most coaches and former great eagles players are already sold on Foles. There is something to be said, for a kid who can stay focused, and not unravel in this dysfunctional chaos. there are better young QB who would sink in this chaos and NEBER recover. besides the 3 or 4 passes per game that every single qb in the world would like to have back, please explain how Foles has shown NOT TO BE THE GUY? Realistically what more could he have done in these past games? Every single time he gets any rather going, one of his backup teammates screws it up, penalties, dropped balls, fumbles…was Foles really expected to carry this slop to more wins? Playing against playoff teams that have real starts who are still fighting for the playoffs. Given the situation, Foles has played about as good as you can expect him to play. You can’t evaluate him as a whole with the team…you have to take the other 10 bums out f the picture, and just focus on what he is doing, and in that regard he has been making GIANT STRIDES….That’s my dude going into next year!
