We Don’t Know If We Can Adjust

railpark_v1The open-spaces advocacy group VIADUCTgreene, whose capitalization we just mastered about 10 minutes ago, has now changed its name to Friends of the Rail Park. Guys, really?

At any rate, it does make more sense as a name. So let’s introduce them officially: Philadelphia, here are your newest friends:

Friends of the Rail Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to cultivate visions and advocate for a continuous three-mile linear park and recreation path in Philadelphia, connecting many neighborhoods and cultural institutions to Fairmount Park along the historic elevated Reading Viaduct and City Branch rail cut of the former Philadelphia and Reading Railroad.

Their latest plans are bold, to say the least.

I was very critical of even “wasting” a 7th round pick on Brown. He quit on his UT team, then after transferring & sitting out a year…quit on KSU after just one game. But clearly the young man appears to have grown up and been a competent back up to Shady who now gets his shot. He’s turned me around.

This isn’t quite what happened. VIADUCTgreene still exists, and is the brain behind what the “rail friends” (interpret) presented…my two cents.
