What was the average amount of time Vick had to throw the ball? Hopefully the screen game gets better

  • Really in depth analysis and commentary. Thanks guys, much appreciated

Great work, Sheil. This is the kind of analysis we’ve come to expect after each game.

Here’s a request: given that we are working with replacement refs and the Eagles were penalized so much, could you do a game review on the officials, and try to give an objective view on penalties they called or may have missed on both teams having re-watched the game? I don’t think the refs influenced the outcome of this game one way or another, just think this would be very informative. Thanks.

Nice breakdown, this tells me that Dick Jauron knew how to break down our OL, by pressuring double teaming and hitting Vick’s front side. This opens a flaw in our OL, to the next team we’re facing, unless Mornhinweg finds a way to create counter-measure blocking schemes. Would be nice to see a QB clock before his release. Any case, Vick should keep his eyes down field and generate quick ball release.

Yeah, now that I think about it and how the cleveland iggles knew how to scheme for us, some of that is to be expected. If we see the same mistakes recurring after the bye, i will be very worried as well.

Incredible commentary! I think injuries are killing many teams chances. Im sure the Ravens D will be on their best behavior.

  • Thanks Sheil,

Vick was miked up this week. The Browns D Line was mocking the Eagles because the Eagles could not stop the Browns penetration. The Network showed a clip of Vick talking to the O Line, who looked the part of a defeated contingent. It was pitiful and all captured on tape for the nation to see. Point blank, the Browns took the Eagles O Line out to the woodshed and mocked them the entire game.

The one saving grace was this come from behind victory with under 2 minutes left.

This is a game that is best forgotten as soon as is humanly possible. Parker was having a field day with Herremen. Why would the Eagles throw 56 times when they have Shady. When you can’t pass protect, to save your dignity you drive block for the run.

This is excellent. I think one way this could improve even further would be to post how long it took between the snap and the hit. Blame/credit can be better assigned when timing is assessed. Keep up the great work Sheil, I hope people throw buckets of money at you for your fine work.
