Philly Magazine's Wedding Checklist

  • Call guests who have not responded. Give final guest count and seating chart to the caterer.
  • Confirm date, location, arrival time, and final payment amounts with all vendors.
  • Give vendors a point-of-contact (mother, bridesmaid) for the actual wedding day if you don't have a wedding consultant.
  • Confirm all beauty appointments.
  • Break in wedding shoes at home.
  • Make arrangements for the groom's tux, if rented, to be returned (usually by the best man).
  • Prepare toasts for rehearsal dinner and wedding reception.
  • Prepare tip and payment envelopes for all of your vendors and make arrangements for someone to help distribute them.
  • Pack bags for honeymoon and wedding night. Give wedding night bag to someone to deliver to the hotel before the ceremony.
  • Make arrangements to have your dress delivered, or pick it up yourself.
