Best of Philly 2007 Thai

Chabaa Thai Bistro

It was in the kitchen with her father in Thailand that Chabaa Thai chef/owner Moon Krapugthong picked up the essence of Thai cuisine — authentic flavors that she translates brilliantly to her modern-decor Manayunk BYOB. She’s mastered the traditional dishes familiar to Philadelphians — toothsome, lightly sauced pad Thai and crisp veggie salads served with tangy dressings — and her less traditional recipes are just as popular. Try the lightly fried shrimp mixed with chunks of sweet mango and pineapple, and whole grilled squid with chili-lime sauce.
