Best of Philly 2012 Sushi, Suburbs

Bonjung

A fine-dining BYO sushi bar and traditional Japanese restaurant (with some Korean dishes thrown in) isn’t exactly unheard-of in Philadelphia. But in the ‘burbs? You’d have better luck finding a unicorn. And a unicorn wouldn’t be nearly as delicious.

Best Sushi in the burbs – TAKO in Bensalem

Please check out Tako in Bensalem. Yes, we drive from Old City to eat sushi in Bensalem – often.

“J” is a wizard and right now there is not a sushi bar in Philly that can touch them for freshness, flavor, innovation and for having a really good time – all in one. We had lunch at Fat Salmon today 24 Oct, it was decent but did not rock my socks off and we’ve eaten at Moritomoto’s twice – but we don’t have sushi there (it’s the omakasi every time)

Tako is our benchmark for sushi.
