This family-owned Fishtown company is a shining light in one of the more, shall we say, challenging industries known to man. To wit: Mr. Contractor won’t pull the sort of disappearing act for which industry losers are known; they have 22 staff members to keep your job on track; and a BBB accreditation means you can be sure they’ll resolve any problems. There now, isn’t that better?

PHILLY
EVENTS

I am sorry & surprised to see Mr. Contractor make this list.
They did a horrible job on my bathroom, I will never use or recommend them.
I liked Barry (co-owner) when they did my kitchen floor – that is why I used them to do the Bathroom.
Lonny (co-owner) had an attitude when I told him about some of the problems w/bathroom (ruined the vanity, cut it wrong, knobs on wrong, told them to take it out & I went & purchased a vanity myself!Cracked grout, chipped tile on floor etc.)
Maybe they have hired new workers since 2009………
Hope so.
Mr,Contractor, Inc aplogizes for what happened, I hope after dealing with Barry everything went smoothly and all your issues have been resloved. Thank you for your honesty and we have had the same crews for over 20 years. Plus the spector family owns and operates the company with no sub contractors and Allan Phyllis Ken Barry Lonnie Steve Brandon and Greg Spector work really hard to keep up with customer satisfaction and all the awards we win due to outstanding service and great reviews from thousands of clients over the years.

We pride ourselves with maintaining a good reputation. We know that we couldn’t have gotten to where we are without loyal customers and referrals. When we are given awards we are very appreciative. Over the years we have been selected for many honors, such as “Best of Philly” in 2007, voted “Top 500 Remodeler” in the country and winner of “Angie’s List” service award in 2009. We maintain a positive Better Business Bureau record and have above average ratings on Dun & Bradstreet.

The only way we know how to achieve a good reputation is by doing quality work, standing behind our finished product and supporting our community. We are proud to be part of many local and national charities and feel that it is part of our duty. Every year, Mr. Contractor puts aside part of it’s revenue have work for our employees, be able to offer the best prices and be able to provide future generations a company to rely on
I have done work with Mr. Contractor and found them to be professional and courteous.
What a stuff of un-ambiguity and preserveness of valuable know-how concerning unexpected feelings.
