Okay, so there’s no such thing as bad water ice. But when it comes to choosing the best water ice, we were tickled that people took the task so very seriously—tasting and re-tasting, swirling ice on their tongues like fine wine, debating, considering, then tasting some more. But when all was said and done, it was Yardley Ice House, with its brilliant, popular (and now legendary) cherry bordeaux water ice, that won the day.
