So some of you, we know, joke (not so jokingly) about eloping because the chaos of vendor meetings, family squabbles and spreadsheets that can be wedding planning has your head spinning and you’re starting to think that maybe quick and dirty is the way to go. Some of you have wanted to go the fast, simple and sweet route the whole time, preferring to jump right to happily ever after without the big celebration that takes months to plan.

Trust us, we get both! We find elopements to be inherently romantic and are always interested to hear the couple’s reasoning behind their particular path to marriage.

Whatever your motivation, though, if you’ve got elopement on your mind, we thought you might like to know about the news that just crossed our desks: Philly’s Hotel Palomar just came out with a whole new batch of wedding packages that cater just to you! Here’s what they’ve cooked up:

The Quickie {$1,250}

  • A 60-minute event for 30 people including the bride and groom
  • Ceremony space with an on-site officiant and choice of ceremony music
  • Champagne toast

The Bliss {$1,700}

  • A 60-minute event for 30 people including the bride and groom
  • Ceremony space with an on-site officiant and choice of ceremony music
  • Champagne toast
  • A pretty petite wedding cake

The Fête {$3,500}

  • A 90-minute event for 30 people including the bride and groom
  • Ceremony space with an on-site officiant and choice of ceremony music
  • Champagne toast
  • One-hour cocktail hour featuring a cheese or Mediterranean display
  • One hour of a full open bar
  • A pretty petite wedding cake

The Happily Ever After {$7,000}

  • A three-hour event for 30 people including the bride and groom
  • Ceremony space with an on-site officiant and choice of ceremony music
  • Champagne toast
  • One-hour cocktail hour featuring a cheese or Mediterranean display
  • Two-hours of a full open bar
  • Three-course plated lunch or dinner (you’ll have a full menu of choices soup, salad and entree)
  • A pretty petite wedding cake

All of the packages are available to book at any hour from Monday through Friday, and from 11am-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
