By now you’re all familiar with the fact that the cost of throwing a wedding is constantly escalating; the most recent stats have the average price tag at $32,641, a number that continues to inch higher year after year (that figure is up 4.5 percent from 2014).

There are certain aspects of a wedding that, try as you might to get costs down, will always take a rather large bite out of your budget, no matter the dollar amount you’re aiming to spend (think: your venue and catering). But when it comes to certain smaller details, like decorative elements and fun, personal touches, there are most definitely tricky ways to save money (or not spend at all!) without sacrificing style.

Local wedding planner Jaclyn Fisher of Two Little Birds Planning recently shared with Glamour six thoughtful details you can incorporate into your Big Day without spending a single pretty penny. From a signature cocktail (if you’re already having an open bar, adding a custom drink to the menu shouldn’t cost extra) to printable wedding signs and framed photos from home, these so-fun options are a great way to add personality to your wedding without breaking the bank.
