Happy 20th Anniversary to Us! Here’s a Sneak Peek of Philadelphia Wedding’s Fall/Winter 2016 Issue

Philadelphia Wedding Fall/Winter 2016 20th Anniversary Issue

Philadelphia Wedding’s fall/winter 2016 issue will be on stands on June 27th.

YOU GUYS. Here is something you probably do not know: Our fall/winter 2016 issue of Philadelphia Wedding marks the magazine and brand’s 20th anniversary! Yep—in the autumn of 1996, our pretty little mag made its debut and began its career in helping brides-to-be in the Philadelphia area plan their dream wedding. And it’s been plugging along ever since.

We worked hard to make sure this issue was special, and today, readers, it touched down at PW headquarters. It’ll be on newsstands on Monday, June 27th, when you’ll be able to get a copy—but for now, we thought we’d give you just a little taste of what’s inside.

The Biggest, Most Beautiful Feature Ever Instead of touching separately on all the parts that will make up your gorgeous wedding, we combined everything (the gowns, the cakes, the flowers, invitations, jewelry and accessories—not to mention venues) into one mega feature spread, which we shot over the course of three days at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia and the Rittenhouse Hotel. The gowns from local bridal boutiques and the flower arrangements and festive desserts created by some of Philly’s most talented vendors are some of the most stunning we’ve seen.

Honeymoons in Paradise If the idea of spending your first days (or weeks!) post-wedding lounging around the Cheval Blanc-St. Barth Isle de France in St. Barts—or the St. Regis Princeville in Kauai or the Four Seasons in Maui—sounds any good to you at all, you’re going to want to check out our honeymoon reports on all three islands.

Gifts Your Bridal Party Will Actually Use When your peeps get a load of the handmade leather goodies you’re giving them from Wayne’s Waltzing Matilda, they won’t even care that they’ll never wear that dress again.

Five Amazing Real Weddings All at local spots, all with ideas you’re going to want to steal.

How to Entertain Your Guests Dancing, speeches and photo booths aside, we’ve got a few more ideas for keeping your guests interacting and having a blast ’till they summon their Ubers home.

And there’s so much more! We really can’t wait to share it with you, so be sure to nab an issue on the 27th and let us know what you think! We hope you love it as much as we loved putting it together. Happy planning!
