Taylor Swift Brought a Vogue Reporter to That PA Wedding & More News You Missed Over the Weekend

By now you’ve probably seen Vogue‘s latest cover star: a barely-recognizable, bleach-blonde Taylor Swift. The jarring images have been making the rounds on social media since the cover dropped last week, and now we’re learning that the high-profile interview took place at that Pennsylvania wedding she attended back in February.

Yes, you read that right: Taylor Swift brought a Vogue reporter to her best friend’s wedding. We’ll just leave that there for you to digest, though in case you’re wondering, the bride was a good sport about it (she even got quoted once)—they are lifetime BFFs, after all.

Moving on to another famous songstress: Rumor has it that Mariah Carey’s impending nuptials to billionaire James Packer will be featured on an episode of “Mariah’s World,” her new reality show that’s airing on E! later this year. We can only assume that it’ll be quite an extravagant affair; there’s a good chance we’ll be setting our DVRs.

This weekend was a popular one for celebrity couples to tie the knot. First Empire stars Grace Gealey and Trai Byers said “I do” in a private ceremony on Grand Cayman Island on Thursday. Gealey confirmed the news on Instagram by posting a sweet photo with her new hubby.

Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson and fiancé Andrew East got married in Nashville on Saturday. The bride wore a custom Olia Zavozina gown and guests included her fellow gymnasts and cast members from Dancing With the Stars.

Saturday was also a big day for ABC newsman Gio Benitez, who got hitched to fiancé Tommy DiDario in Miami. The grooms wore J.Crew (and matching, custom-made ties) and had their first dance to Il Volo’s cover of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”
