We’ve got some exciting news for all of you Spring 2017 brides: Brûlée Catering just added another event space to its impressive list of wedding venues. The Museum of the American Revolution is set to make its debut in Old City next year, and we have all the developing details about what couples can expect from the new state-of-the-art facility.

The museum, which is currently under construction at Third and Chestnut Streets, will pay homage to the American Revolution and the founding of our nation through an assortment of historic artifacts, manuscripts and artwork. In addition to the main exhibition that’ll occupy the building’s second floor, the 18,000-square-foot space will also feature a theater, special exhibit gallery, boardroom and event hall—which means there are lots of options when it comes to hosting your wedding here.

Here’s a breakdown of the available event spaces within the museum:

  • The Court and Grand Staircase are located on the first floor the museum, right off the lobby. This open space is ideal for cocktail hour; both the Court and the lobby can accommodate a gathering of over 200 people.
  • When the 5,000-square-foot Special Exhibits Gallery is not being used to display a short-term exhibition, it’ll be available for rent as an event space. The room can fit 300 seated and 500 for a cocktail-style reception (it can also be divided into two separate rooms, making it a great place for your ceremony and reception).
  • On the third floor you’ll find the versatile Event Hall, which can seat up to 180 guests for a formal dinner (see rendering below). In addition to sweeping views of historic Philly, the Event Hall will also have a beautiful open-air terrace.
  • A bridal suite will also be set-up in one of the building’s meeting rooms.
