Two Dudes Looked for Wedding Dates on Craigslist and Now Their Story Is a Zac Efron Movie
I vaguely remember this story from a few years ago in which two brothers posted an ad on Craigslist in order to score wedding dates for a wedding they had coming up. (It was a family wedding, and they had basically been told to bring dates in order to keep their usual nuisance-causing in check.) We’ll wait while you go refresh yourself on the specifics.
Welp, here we are today, and just as these two (literal) bros predicted in their original posting, their story has become a movie. A real bro-com, to be sure, courtesy of the casting of Zac Efron and Adam Devine as the two brothers in question. Behold, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates:
If you’re thinking this probably isn’t a wedding movie (unlike this one) that you’ll go pay a million dollars for in the theater, that’s fine, but please don’t pretend that you won’t On Demand it on your couch with your fave blanket and bottle o’ wine. (And we’ll be right there with ya.)
