Happy New Year, y’all, and welcome back to the real world! We hope you had a lovely break filled with lots of family time, good food (read: cookies) and some much-needed relaxation.
If your break was anything like ours, that also means that practically everyone you know (and plenty of people you don’t know but have mutual friends with on Facebook) got engaged at some point over the holidays. Our timelines were brimming with ring selfies and proposal stories galore—and that includes all of the celebrities who put a ring on it, too (and a few who tied the knot)!
In case you missed any of Hollywood’s wedding and engagement news over the past week or so, we’re here to catch you up. Read on for all of the exciting details.
There’s a Pitch Perfect wedding in the works! Skylar Astin proposed to girlfriend Anna Camp over the weekend while the two were vacationing in Hawaii. The couple met on the set of the film and have been dating since 2013. (Her ring looks beautiful, so we’ll be waiting with baited breath for another snapshot of it.)
Congrats are also in order for Tory Burch, who rang in 2016 with a some big engagement news. The designer will soon say “I do” to fiancé Pierre-Yves Roussel. (Details about her ring have yet to be announced but we’re pretty sure this is it.)
Looks like Delaware native and diehard Eagles fan Ryan Phillippe is off the market again—he proposed to girlfriend Paulina Slagter on Christmas.
2015 ended on a high note for Jordan Smith: Not only did he take home a first-place win on The Voice, but he also landed himself a bride-to-be. The singer proposed to girlfriend Kristen Denny just in time for the ball to drop.
Rudy Huxtable is all grown up! The Cosby Show‘s Keisha Knight Pulliam said “yes!” to former NFL star Ed Hartwell, who popped the question on New Year’s Eve. The actress announced the news on Instagram with an adorable photo showing off her giant sparkler.
Former Olympic figure skater turned fashion correspondent Tara Lipinski is now sporting some new left-hand bling, too. She got engaged to longtime boyfriend Todd Kapostasy and shared a sweet photo of her ring on Instagram last week.
Well isn’t this the most picturesque proposal: Pretty Little Liars star Sasha Pieterse recently shared some adorable photos of the moment her boyfriend Hudson Sheaffer got down on one knee. Talk about a gorgeous backdrop.
This one’s for you, Dancing with the Stars fans: Pro dancer Witney Carson got hitched to her high school sweetheart Carson McAllister on New Year’s Day. The bride wore an elegant Rivini gown and carried a gorgeous wintry bouquet for their intimate Salt Lake City ceremony, which was followed by a large reception with family, friends and the rest of the DWTS crew.
Another star who said “I do” in time for the holidays: Carson Daly. The Voice host married longtime love Siri Pinter in a private ceremony on December 23, and the two couldn’t look happier in their black-and-white wedding photos. The couple has been together for 10 years and share three children.
