The couple: Deonna Baquero and Sean Wolf, from Marlton.
The ring: My ring is a round brilliant diamond with a custom halo setting into a split shank holding round diamonds.. It was a complete surprise! Sean designed it with some help from his friend who’s a jeweler at Sage Jewelers. I had showed him rings I liked before, and he took his favorite elements and created his very own masterpiece. The ring is perfect! I couldn’t be more grateful for the time and energy he spent creating this one of a kind engagement ring.
The proposal: Ealier this month, Sean told me that we were going to a work dinner, and to be sure to dress up! He had a white Bentley pick us up, and when I stepped inside there was a dozen long stem roses, as well as champagne. The driver took us into Center City, but when we got onto Broad Street, he pulled off onto the median, where he said the road was blocked off and needed to figure out a different route.
The driver proceeded to get out of the car and opened the door to let me out. Utterly confused, I just went along with it. Sean eventually got out and walked me over to a red carpet that was custom made and laid out right in front of City Hall in Philadelphia. That is where he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together!
The band: I am not sure exactly what I want, but definitely something that complements the ring without taking away from it. I also want it to be something that can worn on its own without the engagement ring.
