Leo Benoit, the Vice President of Retail Operations for bridal retailer Alfred Angelo, is a Vietnam War veteran, and it’s one of the reasons the company offers consistent incentives for its military brides year round. (They offer a 30 percent discount for military brides, their spouses-to-be, and dependents.)

And it was also Mr. Benoit’s idea that on Wednesday, November 11th—a.k.a. Veterans’ Day—the 62 Alfred Angelo stores will offering free wedding gowns to any military bride who makes an appointment to come in on that day and find her dream dress. (And psst: We’ve got one right here in Cherry Hill!)

A few things to know:

  • You’ve got to actually make an appointment to come into the store on 11/11, and take the dress with you that day.
  • The offer applies to the gowns that are in the stores—so they’re samples, and will vary in color, size and style.
  • You’ve got to bring your military ID or DD214 along with a matching government-issued photo ID with you in order to receive the gown.
  • This offer excludes their Disney collection.
  • Alterations are a separate thing, and aren’t included with this deal.

You can read all the details here—but if you’re interested, give ’em a call right now! Each store will offer about 40 appointments for the day. Happy shopping.
