Hilary Rhoda Wore the Most Glorious Carolina Herrera Dress for Her Wedding Last Weekend

Every once in a while, you see a bride (or a designer, whichever way you want to look at it) who just hits the nail on the head with the non-traditional wedding dress. Early this morning, I saw a picture of the gown model Hilary Rhoda wore this past weekend to marry former NHL player Sean Avery, and it’s just so good:

I normally wouldn’t be such a fan of the black, but the halter is just so perfect for her, and the green grosgrain underlay is heaven. One look and I knew it had to be Ms. Herrera, who designed the last not-traditional wedding getup that just about died over—Olivia Palermo’s skirt-over-shorts-with-sweater bridal ensemble.

Take a look at a few more photos here. Would you wear a multi-colored wedding gown?
