PW Reader Ring: Dana & Bobby!
Dana’s ring!
The couple: Dana Ritchie and Robert Colona, Mount Ephraim.
The ring: My ring has a cushion-cut diamond set in rose gold with a diamond halo. Bobby worked with our friend Dave to make it; he grew up in a family jewelry business in Philadelphia and makes rings as a hobby.
The proposal: We went to a lakeside dinner one night at the Chop House, a steak house in Gibbsboro. Afterwards, the plan was to meet up with my sister and brother-in-law for drinks at the Tap Room in Haddon Heights.
When we arrived at the bar, I saw my whole family standing outside on the deck—and I knew then what was about to happen!
I am a huge family person, so this was so special for me that my family was there. The icing on the cake was our favorite band—All Souled Out—was playing there that night, and we booked them for our wedding!
The band: I will probably get another rose gold band covered in diamonds as my band and he will probably get a titanium band.
