A Couple Got Engaged on Last Night’s Finale of Bachelor in Paradise
We have more Bachelor-related engagement news to share, y’all: After a rather scandalous season of Bachelor in Paradise, Monday night’s finale ended with a proposal! Tanner Tolbert got down on one knee and popped the question to Jade Roper with a 2-carat Neil Lane engagement ring (as if we didn’t see that one coming).
The sparkler Tanner chose, though, is unlike any of the others we’ve seen on the show—it’s an emerald-cut diamond in an east-west setting (this style seems to be growing in popularity) surrounded by 12 round brilliant-cut diamonds. It’s really pretty, and much simpler than the elaborate rings Lane usually designs for the franchise.
And, according to the captions after the show, the couple is planning to tie the knot in Mexico next summer. No word yet on whether we can expect to see in captured on TV a la Lacy and Marcus.
