Ed Sheeran Helped His Friend Propose On Stage During a Concert Last Night

Ed Sheeran must really love weddings. Earlier this year he surprised an Australian couple by performing for their first dance, and just last night he helped his buddy Jake Roche, of the band Rixton, propose to his girlfriend on stage during his concert in Manchester.

A year ago today I met her at manchester arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened. Best day of my life.

Seems like Ed is quite the romantic (he supposedly traveled five hours on his day off to be there for the proposal), which is no surprise to us considering his heartfelt songs are always among the most popular at weddings.
