The Beese Knees is Hosting an Ice Cream Cake Tasting Event on Sunday
How delicious does the Ed Rendell ice cream cake look?
We’ve been drooling over The Beese Knees‘s gourmet ice cream cakes ever since we first caught wind of the local treats back in January, so you can imagine our excitement when co-owner Kristina Beese reached out to tell us that they’re hosting a wedding tasting event this weekend.
On Sunday, June 28, from 1-4 pm, engaged couples and event planners are invited to join The Beese Knees team at their West Philly kitchen for a tasting of their delicious ice cream cake creations (like the Ed Rendell: a nutter butter cookie crust layered with pretzel-infused and peanut butter ice creams and chocolate covered pretzel “crunchies”).
A handful of local vendors—including EverydayEros Studio wedding photographers, graphic designer JesBender, ceremonial musician Rob Swift and makeup artist Jessica Saint—will be on hand to share their talents with you, too, and you’ll have a chance to win a cake from The Beese Knees, an engagement session from EverydayEros,and a gift basket from La Colombe.
