Manayunk Has a New Bridal Salon! Meet Ashe B. & Co.

There’s a new bridal salon coming to town and we’re so excited to introduce you to the lovely new shop and its equally lovely owner! Virginia native Brittany Ashe will be at the helm of the brand new Ashe B. & Co. when it opens in Manayunk next month, and we’ve got all the details about what you can expect when shopping there for your wedding dress.

Ashe has worked in retail for over nine years (six of those years were spent in the bridal industry) and after managing a bridal salon in her hometown of Blacksburg, Virginia, she knew she wanted to one day open a shop of her own. Now, with the support of her mother, who is also her business partner and co-owner of Ashe B. & Co., her dream is finally coming to fruition.

“The bridal and wedding industry as a whole has shifted, and has slowly become more non-traditional with couples showing their creativity and uniqueness in so many different ways,” says Ashe. “Our brides will have that kind of freedom in their search for their wedding dress.” Ashe B. & Co. will carry handcrafted bridal wear by designers Rebecca Schoneveld, Olia Zavozina, Truvelle and Kelly Faetanini (ranging in price from $1,500 to $5,000); plus they’ll be introducing two or three additional designers this fall.

Kelly Faetanini’s social occasion line will also be available at the shop (perfect for bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and all your other special ladies) and in the near future, Ashe will be featuring the work of local jewelers and independent artists.

When shopping for the Dress, you’ll have the option of a 60- or 90-minute appointment with Ashe, where you’ll sip sweet tea and snack on local treats while relaxing in the homey, Southern-inspired space.

Ashe B. & Co. will have a soft opening the weekend of Manayunk’s Arts Festival—June 20 and 21—with limited hours of operation to follow as they receive their full inventory through late July. If you’d like to book an appointment before then, feel free to email info@ashebco.com.
