If you’re still in the market for a few local vendors to participate in your Big Day, we suggest you make room on your calendar for The Big Fake Wedding (formerly The NotWedding), a nontraditional bridal show that’s returning to Philadelphia next Thursday.

The one-of-a-kind event—which is actually a big, fake wedding where brides- and grooms-to-be serve as the “guests” to a real-life vow renewal ceremony that’s followed by a lovely dinner and reception—will take place at the Painted Bride Art Center on May 21.

Campbell Studios, Forget-Me-Not Vintage Rentals & Event Styling, Lauren Schwarz Photography, The Polka Dotted Bee and a ton of other local vendors will be on hand for the event, and you’ll have a chance to observe their work in their natural habitat: an actual wedding environment.

Doors will open at 6:30pm and the ceremony will being at 7:00pm. Tickets for the event cost $25 per person (that includes a swag bag for all attendees) and can be purchased here.
