Local Bridal Guide: Stock Up on Party Supplies For All of Your Wedding Events at These 6 Philly Shops

TK

Occasionette’s Forever Fleurs are perfect for your centerpieces.

In the months leading up to your Big Day, pretty party supplies are a must: Between your engagement party and bridal shower(s), you can basically never have enough confetti, frilly garlands, giant balloons and festive paper straws.

And since we happen to be obsessed with these sorts of things, we decided to point you towards the best places to find them. The shops below are some of our favorites in the area for party goods, and we think you’ll like ’em too.

Anthropologie
Where: 1801 Walnut Street, Rittenhouse
What: Although it may not be the first place you think to look for party goods, Anthropologie has a handful of really cute items to jazz up your events. You’ll love their confetti push-pops (your guests will have so much fun with them), dainty cake toppers and the variety of dainty banners and garlands. They even have paper photo booth props for your reception.

Dino’s Party Center
Where: 1638 South 9th Street, East Passyunk
What: If balloons are on your shopping list, look no further than the team at Dino’s—they’ve been creating balloon displays of all kinds since 1980. If you’re on the hunt for those giant letter balloons we’ve been seeing a lot of at weddings lately, this is the place to go.

Occasionette
Where: 1825 East Passyunk Avenue, East Passyunk
What: This darling little shop (we think the fact that they won a Best of Philly for “Best Pinterest Board Come to Life” speaks for itself) is a treasure trove of housewares, greeting cards, gifts and pretty party supplies. Shop from playful banners and colorful paper straws or pick up a bundle of their Forever Fleurs—the handmade felt flower bouquets are a popular choice for table decor and party favors, and while they have a selection of them in-store at all times, owner Sara Villari can make them to order for you in just about any color.

One Stylish Party
Where: Etsy
What: This Philly-based online party boutique is a go-to for glittery banners, garlands, festive backdrops and owner Tara Bergen’s signature jumbo confetti balloons with tassels (which make for an adorable prop in your wedding photos). Although Bergen’s Etsy shop is temporarily closed while she catches up on orders, it’s expected to open up this month so keep an eye out for her return.

Paper Source
Where: 1628 Walnut Street, Rittenhouse and 103 Coulter Avenue, Ardmore
What: From confetti and custom cocktail napkins to tissue paper pom poms and garland kits, Paper Source has quite a large selection party goodies for you to choose from (some of which are wedding-themed).

Partyland
Where: 8-10 West Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore and 39 South Newtown Street Road, Newtown Square
What: It’s safe to say you can outfit your entire party with the supplies found here: They have everything from banners and lawn signs to balloons, table numbers, paper flowers and more. They’ll whip up centerpieces for you too.
