Kim Kardashian Carried a Clutch With Her Record-Breaking Instagrammed Wedding Pic On It and We Don’t Even Hate It
When I saw a few headlines declaring that Kim Kardashian had carried a clutch the other night with one of her wedding photos on it, my initial reaction was something along the lines of Oh, Kim.
But then I saw it, and you know what? I am not mad. I actually think it’s kind of sweet. (The design itself and its sentiment.)
First of all, I like that its conceit is a book. (English major dork here, obv.) There are pretty much always book wedding clutches on offer at Kate Spade, and I like those, too.
Plus, it was a gift. Someone had it made! Which is such a personal and thoughtful present, honestly. I imagine she squealed when she saw it just like any other girl would to be on the receiving end of such a gift.
And also, it’s not the actual photo slapped on there, like the mugs you gave your dad for Father’s Day in grade school. It’s a likeness depicted in fabric, and it’s really well done and pretty. (It’s also the most-liked photo on Instagram ever.)
In short, we approve, which is a pleasant surprise—much like when we actually liked her wedding dress. Good job, Kim!
