When it comes to the groom’s ensemble for the Big Day, there’s nothing we love more than a perfectly tailored made-to-measure suit. He should, after all, look like a million bucks on your wedding day, but there’s definitely no need to break the bank for him to do it.

That’s where J.Hilburn—a luxurious menswear brand known for its custom and ready-to-wear apparel—comes in: The Texas-based company doesn’t operate out of storefronts; instead they have personal stylists all over the country (including here in Philly!) who meet with clients one-on-one to take measurements and discuss styles, a method that allows them to offer luxe Italian fabrics and made-to-measure suiting at really affordable prices (and in the comfort of their clients’ living rooms).

We chatted with Laura Getty, who mans the team of 20+ stylists throughout the city and ‘burbs, and she gave us a rundown of what the process entails: You set up an appointment with a stylist in your area (or they’ll recommend one for you) during which they’ll take 20 or so specific measurements, chat with you about your personal style and what you want your tux to look like and provide suggestions on styles, colors and fabrics. In four to six weeks, the stylist will hand-deliver the final product and coordinate any alternations that need to be done.

J.Hilburn offers five different tuxedo fabrics and five lapel and 23 lining options at prices starting at $950, as well as over 50 suiting options (if you’re not going the tux route) starting at $700. You’ll also want to check out their made-to-measure shirts (hello groomsmen gifts!) and wide array of accessories.

To contact Getty or to have her set you up with the stylist closest to you, call 610-715-5620 or send her a message at laura.getty@jhilburnpartner.com.
