Video: To Promote New Sitcom ‘Marry Me,’ NBC Helps Real-Life Dude Propose to Real-Life Girlfriend With Adorable Surprise Flash Mob

You know, you’d think with as many of these things as I see, the tears would be at least a little hesitant when a proposal video starts rolling, but that most often just isn’t the case—and it definitely isn’t with this one.

To promote their new sitcom, Marry Me (starring Casey Wilson who is always funny and Ken Marino who I can’t not think of as Guy Young from Eastbound & Down), NBC helped a real-life dude propose to his real-life girlfriend in quite the elaborate show of lip synching and flash mobbing, surprise guests and professional dancers and ballerinas and football players and a whole host of other characters that you’ll miss if you blink, but you’ll have to blink to clear out the tears.

It’s a sweet one. Take a look:

The show premiers on Tuesday, October 14th. No word on when Bret and Jovan’s wedding will do the same.
