Come Shop for Your Wedding Parties, Bridesmaids and Honeymoon at the Upcoming Philly Mag Shops Event!

See you there!

See you there!

Last year, before the first-ever Philly Mag Shops event, my lovely colleague, Emily Goulet (who you might recognize from her past PW column Diary of a Marriage and who is currently Philly mag’s lifestyle editor) popped by our blog to tell you why the event is such a fantastic place to shop for your various wedding events, your bridesmaids, and your honeymoon.

Well, it’s happening again this year, ladies, and I am referring you back to her announcement last year, because it all holds true this time around, too!

In case you missed it, the basic breakdown is that on Sunday, October 5th, from 12-3pm in the Crane Arts Building, there will be a gathering of some simply fabulous Philadelphia boutiques, and they will all be offering their favorite fall merchandise at 40 percent off. (Accessories will be 30 percent off.) There will be food and drink and the announcement of the winner of the second annual Philly Mag Fashion Project.

Just like last year, there will be plenty of opportunity to shop for your various wedding-related soirees—and for your post-nuptial getaway (you know you want new clothes for your ‘moon, too). And there are a few things, Em and I would both like to note, that you brides should keep an eye out for. Off the top of our heads:

  • Local designer Mariel Rojo’s so-pretty lingerie collection (take a peek at more style here. The “I heart you” panties. Can you even?).
  • Adorable little treats like tote bags and note cards that you will most definitely want to give to your bridesmaids from local shop The Atelier.
  • Local jewelers Bario Neal. (Aside: We are in love with their things. Keep your wedding bands in mind when stopping by their booth.)

Point is, you should come shop with us that Saturday, because it’s going to be awesome. Get tix here, and be sure to round up your bridesmaids before you do, because when you buy three, the fourth one is half off.

See you there!
