Because so many brides begin their hunt for their wedding dress with ripped-out pages from magazines clutched in their hands, hoping to find a place near them where they can go and try on that one dress we saw, we always want to help our readers know what designers they can find where—and we love it when there’s someone new to add to the list!

The lovely ladies at the Wedding Pavilion at Van Cleve in Paoli have just picked up a few new lines: Nicole Miller, Anna Maier, and Isabelle Armstrong, the last of which they have exclusive to the Philadelphia area.

Nicole Miller has long been a favorite of ours for the destination or minimal bride—the dresses are just so simple and beautiful. The newly picked up Anna Maier gowns are perfect for the traditional bride who has a keen eye for detail, says general manager Abby McGrath, as these dresses use gorg laces from France and Italy in beautiful patterns and in crisp, architectural silhouettes.

Isabelle Armstrong gowns are handmade in New York by a team of designers and are only in their second season. These gowns are a bit more adventurous, says McGrath, with big, bold styles, lots of fabric, long trains, and unique fabrics made in Brooklyn—ombre lace with hand-painted silver leaf, a lace pattern hand-painted on silk tulle, paper paillettes sewn on lace and organza.

And stay tuned: The weekend of October 16-18, the boutique will be hosting a Katerina Bocci—whose silhouettes and embellishments are just about perfect for the princess bride—trunk show to launch the collection in the store.

So get shopping! Just be sure to update your shop lists before you do.
