The Main Line’s New Six Points Bakery Has Your Bridal Shower and Wedding-Day Kosher Sweets Covered

One of these and a cappuccino and you're good to go!

We’ll take one of each, please!

Few things can brighten up a dreary morning like the announcement of a new bakery opening in town—especially for those of us who could easily live off nothing but baked goods. So you can imagine we’re feeling pretty cheery after hearing that Six Points Bakery, a kosher confectionary from the team that brought us Citron + Rose and Six Points Kosher Catering, just opened its doors in Bala Cynwyd.

From the looks of the drool-worthy menu, you’ll definitely want to start your day with a trip to this Main Line shop. Executive Pastry Chef George Fritzsche is at the helm, baking up a delicious array of sweets from rosemary olive scones and peach bourbon turnovers to brownies, cookies, and bagels, too. We suggest popping in for a hearty muffin, fresh loaf of challah, and a cappuccino or latte made with local One Village Coffee.

Not only only that, but—and the best part, as far as we’re concerned, of course: They can also accommodate large orders for events, and that includes all things wedding. The company’s wholesale bakery, Montgomery Bagels & Bakery, located at the Six Points Kosher Catering headquarters in King of Prussia, is stocked with all of the treats you might need for a bridal shower or post-wedding breakfast spread. Just place your order at the Bala Cynwyd storefront (and sample the goods while you’re there!) and arrange to have it picked up there or at the wholesale location.

And it doesn’t stop there. If you happen to be in the market for a kosher wedding cake too, Six Points has you covered. Chef Fritzsche can whip up cakes, cupcakes, and any other kosher desserts you envision for your Big Day. These special sweets are not available daily at Six Point Bakery, but can be ordered directly from the KOP headquarters.

Six Points Bakery is open Sunday through Thursday from 7 am to 7 pm and Fridays from 7 am until sundown. Happy snacking!
