From photographer Julie Melton of Sweetwater Portraits:

Lauren and Pete had an intimate backyard wedding set among the towering spruce trees surrounding her childhood home in Glenmoore. Lights were strung through the orchard, quilts were laid out for stargazing, and mason jars were offered next to a sign reading “We support catch-and-release lightning-bug hunting.” Every aspect of the wedding reflected their goal that everyone be relaxed and have a great time.

One of our favorite details was their vintage cake toppers: Two of the cake toppers were from each of Pete’s grandparent’s wedding cakes, and the third was from his parent’s wedding. It was a sweet, simple way to bring family mementos into the wedding—and it fit the rustic and vintage style of their day perfectly.
