VIDEO: There Was a (Very!) Surprise Proposal at Temple’s College of Liberal Arts Graduation 

Earlier this week, we heard whispers that there was going to be a surprise proposal at the graduation ceremony for Temple’s College of Liberal Arts—and a surprise proposal there was!

Julio Viera and Julie Malave met when he was a sophomore and she was a freshman, in Peabody Hall on Temple’s campus where they both lived—and yesterday, when she went on stage to receive her diploma, he was there waiting for her. “We’ve been together four and a half years now,” says Julio. “Temple is where we began our relationship, so I only feel it’s right to make it a part of our future, as well.”

And happily, it seems pretty clear from this clip that she said yes. SO CUTE. Congrats to them both—on both milestones!
