Tell Your Bridesmaids About New Site Showerbelle Before They Start Planning Your Bridal Shower

While perusing the wedding Interwebs the other day, I stumbled upon Showerbelle, a new and totally darling site exclusively dedicated to planning and hosting the perfect bridal shower, so I decided to investigate further.

The brainchild of founders Lori Edwards and Gabrielle Green, the site is part blog, part advice column, and part party supply shop—so really, a pretty awesome source of inspiration for pulling off a gorgeous shower with as little stress as possible. (So maybe pass this along to your ‘maids!)

“There are a lot of wonderful wedding sites that offer tips for hosting wedding and bridal showers, but none that covered the subject exclusively,” Green tells me. “Lori and I have both been down the shower-hosting road ourselves, and we know what it’s like to really want to put together a thoughtful and beautiful event while you have a million other things going on in your life. We don’t think celebrations should ever be stressful, so we started on a mission to help women actually have fun hosting showers.”

On the site you’ll find everything from colorful cocktail recipes and decadent dessert spreads to creatively themed showers that you’ll be dying to recreate (I’m loving their vintage coffee and donuts idea pictured above, which we know our Philly brides can re-create with the help of a little Fednuts!). There’s also pretty straws, garland, and chalkboard accessories to purchase through the site, with more products coming soon. And you can even subscribe—er, subtly suggest that your MOH subscribe—to their mailing list to get shower ideas sent right to your/her inbox!

If you subscribe, they’ll send you a downloadable bridal shower planning kit complete with all of the timelines and checklists you could need to keep yourself organized and on schedule. And don’t worry, whoever’s in charge of planning your shower can thank us later.
