You Should Steal This Dessert Bar Idea from Nate Berkus’s Wedding

People has very nicely provided us with detail shots from the so-stylish designer wedding of Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, and just like with any real wedding pics, there are some really pretty, really clever ideas that you should totally use as inspiration for your Big Day.

We love the flower arrangements, we love the long tables, we love the fonts on their black-and-white signage—but what we really love is their dessert bar!

Many couples opt to have an entire spread of sweets instead of going with the traditional wedding cake—but we can’t say we’ve ever seen it displayed the way these cool guys did it. Check out the last photo: the goodies are on an industrial shelf! Such a spread is usually, well, spread out along a table for guests to pick and choose what they want. This allows for the same kind of browsing and choosing—and it looks really cool. We’d pass this along to your caterer, if we were you.

Would you consider displaying your dessert bar like this?
