If your response to that headline was an audible “Yes, please,” then we are pretty much on the same page, since that is what I uttered out loud alone in my office when I saw this post from our buds over at Be Well Philly.
It is a roundup—a glorious, drool-inducing roundup—of 13 breakfast smoothie recipes that taste like various kinds of cake and pie. Most likely, even, some of the actual cake (red velvet?) and pie (pumpkin?) that you will have in your dessert spread at your wedding.
In response to my raised eyebrows, health editor Emily Leaman promised me that these are healthy recipes, too, packed with good things like protein and fiber (some are even gluten-free and vegan!) that make for a super healthy way to start the day as you make your way towards your wedding-day, dress-rocking health and fitness goals.
I, for one, will be starting with the Chocolate Cake Batter smoothie. How bout you?
