You Can Literally Double the Length of Your Honeymoon With Scrub Island in the British Virgin Island’s “Buy 7, Get 7″ Deal

A few years ago, I had the tough assignment of traveling to Scrub Island in the British Virgin Islands to cover it as a honeymoon destination for PW’s spring/summer 2012 issue. (Here’s that story.) Because you know, as they say, someone’s gotta do it.

So I perked up today when this almost unreal honeymoon deal crossed my desk: The luxe BVI resort is offering a 14-night stay in one of their completely ridic villas (pics below) for the price of seven nights.

It's good for travel before December 20, 2014, and with your stay, you get daily breakfast in the resort's Caravela restaurant. You can choose among their two-, three-, or four-bedroom villas, all of which are nestled into the hillside of Scrub Island, and all of which are more than lovely, I can say from experience. And, if you can't swing a two-week stay—even though it's your honeymoon!—they'll also give you seven nights in a villa for the price of five.

What I think is so cool about honeymooning in the BVI is that because there are so many islands, and because they are so close together—many are just the shortest of ferry rides apart—you could very easily spend two weeks there exploring, diving, hiking, swimming, drinking, snorkeling, dining, and site-seeing; hopping from island to island without ever doing the same thing twice. (My story has a few examples of this.) And of course, you can always spend a day or two laying around Scrub, moving from the pool to the beach to the spa, and be just fine.

If you're booking online, use the code BOG, or call toll-free 877-890-7444 to have them set you up. Take a look at the photos below to get a feel for 'mooning there—and happy booking.
