Wedding Invitation Workshop at the Paper Source in Philly

I have two colleagues who once attended a workshop at the Paper Source on Walnut Street in Philly, raved about it, and then turned out the most adorable hand-made Christmas cards ever, shaming the rest of us who mass-bought boxes of them and blindly signed our names before slapping a stamp on them and dumping them in the mailbox. They’re now obsessed with Paper Source workshops—so apparently, they’re good!

Good news: that location has a Wedding Workshop coming up this week, on Thursday, March 27th—and again on April 12th.

They’re from 6-8pm, cost $20, and during it, you’ll not only learn about all the wedding-invitation services that Paper Source offers (they’ll give you an overview as well as some ideas for favors, save-the-dates, etc., etc.), they’ll teach you how to DIY these puppies, if that is the route you’re looking to go, covering everything from putting together an invitation suite to stamping, embossing, and and mixing and matching with your envelopes and liners.

Each person will also get a full suite of their white luxe paper, plus a wedding planner and a checklist. They strongly recommend that you call the store to sign up before showing up, as space is limited and they tend to fill up quickly.

Fun! Who’s going crafting?
