Choose cake. Pick flowers. Invite POTUS and FLOTUS?

Yesterday’s Huffington Post article about the White House sending anniversary cards led us to the discovery that the official “White House Greetings Office” also mails out, you guessed it, wedding cards. Huzzah!

The procedure, they explain:

“In order to make sure your request gets read, address it to “The White House: Greetings Office” (you can even send it online). Send the request at least six weeks in advance and make sure to include all the right information.”

“This actually works,” writes one commenter. “We sent a wedding invitation and received a nice response. Regardless of one’s politics, it is a very cool keepsake.”
