Crazy for Curves: Rock these butt-toning, curve-enhancing moves from Philly’s Unite Fitness owner Gavin McKay twice a week—and then flaunt what you’ve got.

WEIGHTED STEP-UPS

  • Works: Glutes, hips, core, quads and ham- strings.
  • Form: Holding a weight in each hand, place one foot on a chair or step (knee should not be much higher than hip crease) and step up to full extension. Slowly step back down, keeping the foot on the chair, and repeat.
  • Count: Three to four sets of 12 reps per leg.

DONKEY KICK

  • Works: Glutes and hamstrings.
  • Form: Get on all fours on a mat, with hands under shoulders and knees under hips. Place your right foot through the handle of a resistance band and secure the band under your left knee so the band is taut. Then, with your right leg bent at 90 degrees, sweep it back and up until the quad is parallel to the floor. Return to starting position and repeat.
  • Count: Three to four sets of 20 reps per leg.

RAINBOWS

  • Works: Glutes and hamstrings.
  • Form: On all fours, place your right foot through the handle of a resistance band and secure the band under your left knee with tension. Straighten your right leg and tap your toe to the outside edge of the mat.Lift up as high as you can in a rainbow-arch motion, tapping your toe on the other side of the mat.
  • Count: Three to four sets of 20 reps per leg.

SHAKE YOUR BOOTY  Dance your way to tighter buns at these local classes.

  • Red Hot Dance Fitness
  • Think Zumba, but with a way better soundtrack. This class feels more like a night out with the girls than a workout—except you’ll burn a ton of calories.
  • Philly Dance Fitness
  • Love ballet? Check. How about hip-hop? Roger that. Or maybe strip-tease? Whether you’re feeling more Sinatra or Spears, PDF has a way for you to shake your groove thang while working up a serious sweat.
  • Belly Dance
  • Learn the sexy core-and- booty-sculpting moves of this ancient performance art, then just try not busting them out on the dance floor at your reception. Seriously. We dare you.
