VIDEO: There Was a Mummer Proposal Yesterday During the Parade

Philadelphia’s annual Mummers Parade is full of glitz, color, and over-the-top fun, so it’s no wonder that one Philadelphia dude—a Mummer, actually!—decided it’d be the perfect spot to propose to his girlfriend, who also just so happened to be (surprise!) a Mummer.

It happened right in the middle of the parade, and with an audience reaching well into the thousands, there were more than enough people to share in (and document!) the couple’s special moment. It was even captured on news cameras all around Philly, and as you can see, nothing screams Will you marry me? like a couple dressed as a zebra and a cheetah (I think?) and popping that question in front of a large fake gorilla.
