Come Out With Philadelphia Wedding and Brides Against Breast Cancer!

{UPDATE: Tickets are now buy one, get one free! So one $50 ticket admits two people. Get ’em here—or at the door!}

Fun event alert, all: On Monday, October 7th, myself, my colleague, Be Well Philly editor Emily Leaman, and a host of other super cool Philadelphians (retired Eagles player/current assistant Eagles coach Tra Thomas, Marissa Magnatta from the Preston & Steve show on WMMR, CBS3‘s Syma Chowdhry) will be behind the bar at Water Works, slinging drinks in the name of raising money for breast cancer!

Philadelphia Wedding is partnering with Brides Against Breast Cancer, a wonderful organization that raises money for various programs that help breast cancer patients and their families through hugely attended gown sales that pop up in cities across the country. (All of the gowns are donated by designers, manufacturers, bridal salons and individual brides and then sold at awesome prices to raise money for these wellness and educational programs.)

So on this night, we’ll be at their fundraiser—Headliners for Hope!—at Water Works from 6-9, clad in pink and ready to make sure you have a good time. (Like, literally, since your $50 ticket gets you both unlimited draft beer and Grey Goose signature cocktails, poured into your glass by us.) There will be a DJ, photo booth, gorg decor from Eventricity, yummy bites, chatting with all my buddies in the flyer above—and, they’ll be accepting donations of both wedding gowns and bridal accessories from the year 2008 on.

So pick grab your favorite pink outfit from your closet, round up a few friends, get your tickets here, and we’ll see ya there!
