VIDEO: Guy Proposes to Girlfriend Via a Children’s Book Story—That He Wrote

Saw this on Good Morning America this morning: the story of a North Carolina dude who proposed by way of writing a children’s book about/for his girlfriend.

The groom-to-be literally wrote a children’s book (about their relationship, but featuring a gorilla and a giraffe), got it illustrated, produced it, and then had it placed on a shelf in the library where he and his girlfriend often went to pick out books for their nieces and nephews. A photographer was also hiding in the library in order to capture the big moment. See the clip below:
