PHOTO: Take a Look at This Wedding Dress Made Entirely Out of Legos
Well, I’d say this is probably the most interesting thing I’ll see this thunderstormy Monday: Here is a wedding dress made an entirely out of Legos.
It was put together by Japanese artist Rie Hosokai for Tokyo’s “Piece of Peace” charity exhibit at the Parco Museum. The artist offers the meaning behind the piece—you can read that here—though, I have to say (and sorry if this isn’t very arty of me), but I kinda would like a follow-up interview that less involves meaning and more involves the HOW. Like, seriously. How did she do this? How many Legos are in there? Did the model have to stand there while she closed up whatever side she stepped into? (I mean, she’s really in it, right?) So many questions. I just want them answered.
