Bachelor Sean Lowe Proposes to Catherine, Says They'll Get Married On ABC

Bachelor-no-more Sean Lowe

Did you spend three hours of your life last night watching Bachelor Sean Lowe hem and haw over his final two ladies, then finally send Lindsay packing, propose to Catherine, and (literally) ride off into the sunset on an elephant? I sure did!

During the third After the Final Rose hour, which officially exists for the purposes of letting the rejected ask “what happened” and to bring the chosen couple together for the first time ever in public in all their splendor and glory, but really just serves to give the viewing public a gut feeling of whether or not they’ll make it past their triumphant media rounds, Sean and Catherine also revealed a biggie: that, like Trista and Ashley before them, they will tie the knot on ABC, that the world might witness their nuptial love.

No word on when that’ll happen yet, but here’s hoping Harrison does the honors again.

Other big news from last night: Des is the new Bachelorette, and Sean is joining this season’s Dancing With the Stars! Whew.
