On Monday, December 21, 2009, the Atwater Kent Museum of Philadelphia honored Jimmy Rollins of the Philadelphia Phillies for presenting his 2008 World Championship season uniform to the museum. On Saturday, December 12, 2009, The Pennsylvania Society honored H.F. "Gerry" Lenfest, founder of the Lenfest Foundation, the former Lenfest Communications, and president of the Lenfest Group, LLC, with its prestigious Gold Medal for Distinguished Achievement at its annual Society dinner at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, and the awards ceremony.
