On November 29, 2011, the Philadelphia Antiques Show honored its supporters and celebrated the 2012 show at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum. Guests toured the museum filled with over 60 of the rarest sports cars ever built. On Tuesday, November 29, 2011, the Wanamaker, celebrated its 100th Anniversary with a party in the Crystal Tea Room. Guest included tenants and stake-holders of the building as well as local politicians and civic leaders. Guests enjoyed hor d'oeuvres as they viewed a photo display of the building's history and watched as Center City District President Paul R. On Friday, November 18, 2011, the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® held Teens for the Cure Tickled Pink® at Vie. Nearly 600 teen girls and their parents gathered for the event and raised more than $100,000 for the fight against breast cancer in the affiliate's 13-county service area. The celebration featured silent auctions, raffles, and a runway fashion show with breast cancer survivors and their teenaged daughters, granddaughters and nieces. On Thursday, November 17, 2011, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) Philadelphia hosted the Visionary Gala at Vie on North Broad Street. This was the third annual event honoring student entrepreneurs. Students attended the event's cocktail hour and we able to sell products from their businesses and network with other attendees. Michael G. Rubin, who was honored by NFTE for his accomplishments with the group, spoke with news anchor Tracy Davidson in a chat for a broadcast on NBC10.
