Maia, a dining establishment new to The Main Line, opened its doors and its heart by holding Maia Cares — an event that donated 100 percent of its profits to three charities. Guests enjoyed an assortment of indulgences prepared by executive chefs Terence and Patrick Feury, along with selections from Maia's exquisite beer and wine list while listening to a live a cappella trio. The event raised a whopping $45,000 which will go to Breastcancer.org, Main Line Health and Elite Companies Charitable Foundation.
 
On Wednesday, April 30, 2008, the Rosenbach Museum & Library hosted its annual benefit, the Rosenbacchanal. Guests enjoyed food and wine, a live auction and dinner. All proceeds benefited the museum. Photography by Stuart Watson.
 
On Tuesday April 29, 2008, Philadelphia magazine, Brown-Forman, and Remy Cointreau hosted the launch party for SIP 411. PEARL played the perfect host to guests who enjoyed a sampling of specialty cocktails from Finlandia, Cointreau, Tequila Herradura and more. The evening also featured scrumptious lite-bites from PEARL upstairs in their uber-cool lounge.
 
On Monday, April 28, 2008, Philadelphia Futures held its annual fundraiser at North Bowl in Northern Liberties. The bowling and billiards tournament event was co-hosted by Phillies players Chase Utley, Shane Victorino, and Jimmy Rollins.
