On Monday, November 16, 2009, the Wellness Community of Philadelphia held their seventh-annual “In Fashion!” event with special guest designer Tory Burch at the Gulph Mills Golf Club in King of Prussia. On Saturday, November 14, 2009, PAFA hosted Bacchanal!: The Eleventh-Annual Wine Gala and Auction at the Samuel M.V. Hamilton Building. On Thursday, November 12, 2009, Philadelphia magazine and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board presented the Sixth-Annual Philadelphia Whiskey Festival, sponsored by Melitta and KYW. The event took place at The Union League of Philadelphia, where guests sampled a collection of premium whiskies and other fine spirits while enjoying tasty bites from The Capital Grille, Village Whiskey, The Palm Restaurant, and Tavern on Broad. The evening also featured a meet and greet with Fred Noe, the great grandson of Jim Beam, and a Melitta Coffee Lounge and a Cigar Bar featuring Holt’s cigars. On Sunday, November 8, 2009, the Deborah Hospital Foundation held their Fourth-Annual Red Tie Gala at the Park Hyatt Regency, Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. The evening included dinner, dancing, and live entertainment. An auction helped the Foundation raise $270,000 for cardiac care.

On Saturday, October 31, 2009, Rittenhouse Row treated kids to some Halloween fun. The day's events included a costume party, trick-or-treating, and a Halloween party at G Lounge.
