On Monday, June 29, 2009, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society held its 5th annual Chef’s Dinner for PAWS at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at Penns Landing. On Wednesday, June 17, 2009, Osteria restaurant hosted the fourth annual Great Chefs Event to Benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. Over 500 guests had the chance to mingle with more than 20 world-renowned chefs and sample their food. Photography by Jeff Fusco.

On Friday, June 12, 2009, Moonlight & Roses was held at the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania. More than 500 guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Rose Garden, followed by dinner either under the Rose tent, which featured dancing and entertainment by Jellyroll, or under the more peaceful Moonlight tent.
